Daffodil Campaign (fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society)

Picture
A joint fundraising project between the PM Human Rights Club and PM Science Club raised $1001.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society.  The clubs raised this money to raise awareness about cancer, and donate money to the Canadian Cancer Society, so that it can continue to provide help to those battling cancer.  The campaign was called the "Daffodil Campaign".  The daffodil symbolizes support and courage for survivors of cancer, and those who are battling cancer.  The clubs raised money by receiving general donations for the daffodil pins, by selling food at the school, and by conducting a Canucks jersey raffle draw.  Both PM HRC and the PM Science Club would like to thank Princess Margaret students who donated their time and money to this cause.  If you would like more information about the Canadian Cancer Society, please visit their website (http://www.cancer.ca/).
